Gratitude and goodbyes
This week has been heavy. We all have those once in a while. I left a role where I was working with some awesome souls, it's the right move yet still it's heart wrenching to leave them behind. I also left my profession as a Solicitor after it being part of my journey for three decades. Again, the right move but my heart is heavy. Against this seeming loss I've witnessed kindness, love and care
Bold decisions and destiny
"It is in your moment of decision destiny is made"- Tony Robbins. I love this and it is so true, when we make a decision, and follow it up with massive action we change the course of our life for better. Distractions such as email notifications or the telephone ringing are common examples, but quiet distractions are when people are tapping away on their mobile, or keyboard while they are purporting to be ‘present.’ Irritating and disrespectful but we tolerate that sort of behaviour because that is the ‘norm.’ It is not the norm; it
The shape of hope
The shape of #hope comes in many forms. When we feel frustrated or hopeless because something we want or had hoped for did not come to fruition then it might help to #reflect and step back for some #perspective. Let me share a story. I have a box labelled 'Thank you Pops'. I sometimes place a note to show my gratitude for special events. Here is a note I placed about the birth of Oscar
