This week has been heavy. We all have those once in a while.

I left a role where I was working with some awesome souls, it’s the right move yet still it’s heart wrenching to leave them behind.

I also left my profession as a Solicitor after it being part of my journey for three decades. Again, the right move but my heart is heavy.

Against this seeming loss I’ve witnessed kindness, love and care in the most unexpected ways.

Without being specific I want to acknowledge the kindness of Iwona, Karol, Marcin, Craig, Rahul, Prof. Emery, my sister Aruna and Carolina. They all know why so enough said. They all were the sweetener I needed to get through this week.

When our lives change direction these are my five tips to steer my way through.

Hope, never give up on this. Use it as if our life depends on it.

Acceptance, acknowledge whatever comes up in our feelings it’s a the path to healing.

Self care, take time out for the self especially when feeling fragile.

Write it and reflect with gratitude. This is the best tonic in my world.

Surround yourself by people who will silently witness our journey. We don’t need advice we just need to be seen.

I hope this blog gives you some helpful strategies.
